Sorcerers act like snipers, so you should shadow grab the ledge they’re standing by and take them out ASAP. The ones I’m talking about now throw fireballs, while the other, necromancers, can tell if connected enemies are alive or dead. Unlike the normal grunts, they’re much better at seeing you. Sorcerers are the most annoying enemies in Aragami 2. If you’re hiding beneath an open window and you go after a foe, the same rules apply, but when that cover isn’t a window, an assassination will grab them from around the corner and teleport them to be obscured. Either can create problems, so pick and choose based on your needs. If you knock them out, you’ll slam their head against the ledge and they’ll stay where you leave them. If you’re hanging from a ledge and you assassinate your enemy, you’ll throw them over the ledge. The knockout is simply not as versatile as the assassination. However, the two function differently while hanging or from cover. This works with both assassinations and knockouts. Enemies will never find their comrades when they’re hidden in grass, so this is a great time to strike. If you assassinate an enemy while obscured by grass, you’ll pull your enemy into the grass as well. Keep an eye on how you’re standing, because things can get ugly fast solely because you’re not crouching. Sometimes your character will randomly stand up even though you didn’t tell them to due to the way you bumped into something in the environment, though. Running, slashing, getting hit, they all break your stance. What isn’t obvious is that Aragami 2 will break your stance and you may not know until it’s too late. When sneaking, you always want to be crouching, which is obvious, I know. If you’re not crouching, though, they act as if you’re made of neon signs. While crouching, enemies can barely see you. They themselves automatically dodge nearly all of your strikes, so there’s just no reason to waste the time or energy. Enemies also do a huge amount of damage, easily killing you in one hit. If you do get hit, the camera will automatically lock on to your assailant, making it harder to get away, so bear that in mind. They’ll forget about you soon enough and you really don’t want to deal with the game’s combat camera. There’s pretty much never a good reason to fight. To win the mission you’ll need to pick up Kage-sama regardless of whether you killed him or knocked him out.The combat in Araagami 2 is bad, even by stealth game standards. Mugen can run in the other entrance and kill or knock out Kage-sama. This will cause enough of a stir that everyone will run out to see what’s going on. When the General and his guards patrol outside of the compound have Takuma shoot one of his Guards. Run forwards and kill them both at the same time. Use Shadow Mode with both Mugen and Yuki to target both of the Straw Hat Guards with your pistols. The 2 Straw Hat Guards are all that stand between you and Kage-sama’s camp. They’ll scream a little but won’t alert any guards. Use a Shuriken to take out the guard in near the water and then run around the back to take out the Straw Hat Guard. Hayato can deal with the next two Guards. Climb up the vines to retrieve your Shuriken. Immediately duck down to not be spotted by another Guard. Bring Hayato behind the rock and run forwards until he’s close enough to use a Shuriken on the Guard on top of the cliff. Once again use Sword Wind to deal with them.įirst bring Yuki forwards to lay a trap behind the rock and lure the nearby Guard with the Flute. The 3 Guards on patrol should notice it and take a look. Hide behind the rocks and throw a Sake Bottle in the gap between the rocks. Use Shadow Mode to have Hayato throw a Shuriken at the Guard sitting down and Mugen to use Sword Wind on the 2 Guards as they start their chat. Bring Hayato and Mugen down to hide behind the tent. Now switch over to Hayato, Yuki and Mugen. Use your pistol to deal with the Guard on the other side of the gap. Switch to Takuma first.įirst target the 2 Guards in the lookout towers and take them out. Takuma and Aiko are by themselves on a hill overlooking the camp. In this very important mission to kill or capture Kage-sama you’ll have access to all 5 characters.
